This stunning black-purple bush-type clematis is able to stand on its own, though planting with sturdier companions will offer some appreciated support. In late spring and early summer white flowers appear, often reemerging in midsummer on the deep foliage, followed in the fall by silver seed heads. Moderate growth rate.
