Echinacea Solar Flare (Coneflower)

(Big Sky™ Series) Large, deep magenta blooms surround a deep red centre cone and grow en masse above olive green foliage and almost-black stems. As the flower matures, the petal fade to a pretty dusty rose hue. Rapid growth rate.

Use as cut or dried flowers. Be sure to keep some flowers in the garden over winter, as the blackened seedheads provide cold-season garden interest, as well as food for finches and other winter birds.
