Mahonia repens (Creeping Mahonia)

This broadleaf evergreen shrub features clusters of bell-shaped rich yellow flowers that appear before bunches of delicate blue globe-shaped berries. Foliage of dark green toothed leaves turns an attractive shade of purple in fall. Edible fruit is sour, but can be used in jams and jellies. Moderate growth rate.
