Berberis thunbergii Concorde (Japanese Barberry)
Tight compact mound of deep purplish-red foliage turns scarlet-purple in fall. Tiny clusters of yellow flowers below the branches appear in spring on thorny stems. Fruits are scarlet drupes that appear in the fall.
