Hemerocallis Big Apple (Daylily)

Rich, shiny red petals with a lighter red midrib sport a green throat and rise above the evergreen foliage. Slow growth rate.

The common name comes from the fact that each flower only lasts for 24 hours at most – they open in the morning and wilt before the next evening – some to be replaced by another flower on the same stalk.
