Mahonia aquifolium Compacta (Oregon Grape)

Bright yellow, bell-shaped flowers that produce blue berries afterwards. Foliage is dark green with shiny, spiny leaves similar in compassion to a holly leaf. In fall and winter months, foliage turns to shades of bronze and deep burgundy. Broadleaf evergreen, acidic. Average growth rate.
