A vigorous, deciduous climber that produces palmate foliage with 5 ovate leaflets. Emerging bronze and purplish in spring, maturing to a pale green in summer. Greenish-white flowers appear in the upper leaf axils which later give way to fleshy, blue-black berries that appear once leaves have fallen. During fall months, foliage transitions to shades of burgundy and vibrant crimson red. Fast growth rate.
