This herbaceous perennial features racemes of white, tubular flowers on tall stems bearing deep burgundy foliage of long green elliptic basal and lance-shaped stem leaves. The contrast of flowers and foliage looks almost black and white from afar, hence the variety name. Moderate growth rate.
