Vaccinium corymbosum Chippewa (Half-Highbush Blueberry)
This deciduous shrub has multiple stems of twiggy branches bearing glossy foliage that in spring is red-tinged green and becomes dark blue-green in summer, then turning shades of yellow, orange, and burgundy in fall. Clusters of small, pink-flushed white flowers in spring give way to edible powdery-blue berries. Fast growth rate.
Pair with Patriot, Northland, or Northsky for cross-pollination.
