This multi-stemmed deciduous shrub sports clusters of small dark pink buds that open to reveal tiny lacy white, fragrant flowers that give way to pink-red berry drupes that turn black. Lustrous foliage of leathery, dark green, ovate, serrated leaves becomes maroon in fall. Moderate growth rate.

*Plant with Viburnum x rhytidophylloides ‘Alleghany’ fore a more fruitful shrub.
