Vaccinium angustifolium (Lowbush Blueberry )

This low-growing shrub has multiple stems of twiggy branches bearing glossy foliage that in spring is red-tinged green and becomes dark blue-green in summer, then turning burgundy in fall. Clusters of small, pink-flushed white flowers in spring give way to edible, powdery, sweet blueberries. Moderate growth rate.
